Congregational Leadership
The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a congregational denomination. Lay leadership is at the foundation of each congregation. Our church council leads our congregation. We have at least one congregational meeting a year to approve the budget and to elect members of council. Council members serve for three years and may be reappointed after "sitting out" for a year. Our treasurer(s) serve unlimited terms.

Staff
Chapel Hill Christian Church is served by three ordained ministers. All are bi-vocational. Rebecca McCulloh is one of our pastors. She also works as a mental health counselor at Taking Care of You in Carrboro. Mike Shannon is also a pastor of Chapel Hill Christian Church. He also serves as Director of Chaplain and Bereavement Services at Alamance-Caswell Hospice.

Charles Bradshaw is one of our regular musicians. Charles plays the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month. Charles is a member of the Charles Bradshaw Quartet and the director of United Voices of Praise. Marla Vickers is another of our regular musicians. Marla plays on the 1st and 4th Sundays of the month. Marla also leads the Marla Vickers Band. Other musicians include: John Clarke, Carol Cantrell, Rocky Comer, Robin Davis, and Mark Simmonsen.

Our ministry to young children is staffed by Greg Watrous and Silva Stumpf. Greg also works in the YMCA children's program. Silva works at the Little School of Hillsborough.
